MOBILE BONE DENSITY SCANNING AT YOUR FACILITY
We are pleased to announce that we can provide DEXA bone
densitometry –the “gold standard” of
bone assessment methods—to your hospital or clinic.
Dexa Diagnostics, LLC. is able to provide
on-site bone density scanning at your location. To expand
the availability of bone density measurement to more people,
Dexa Diagnostics has built a mobile DEXA bone densitometry
system. This attractive unit is equipped with a state-of-the-art
Hologic Densitometer which is operated by a trained technologist.
This unit can provide on-site bone densitometry of the
spine and hip, as well as vertebral assessment, at your
hospital, or clinic.
We will determine with your staff a date and time to scan
at your location. After your staff schedules the patients
we will provide the scan and report for you or your radiologist
to read.
FEATURES AND BENIFITS
No Capital Expenditures. Use of our service
allows you access to state of the art equipment which
is considered the "gold standard" without having
to make the capital expenditure. This way, you realize
an “immediate profit”.
No loss of valuable space. By utilizing our service,
not only can you increase revenue, but income generating
exam rooms will not have to billed by a large piece of
equipment.
Licensed Radiologic Technologists. We
only use Radiologic Technologists licensed by the State
of Colorado to perform bone density testing.
Patient Convenience. We return on a predetermined,
bi monthly regular basis.
DEXA is finally a profit center. Historically,
it can take up to 20 tests a month to break even when
considering the lease cost of the unit, the space it occupies,
and the employee cost of designating someone to operate
the unit. Notice in the chart below that the average hospital
with a radiology department projects a profit on all diagnostic
equipment except for DEXA.
By having a relationship with DEXA Diagnostics,
our partnership enables us to cover the cost and still
share the profit with you. For you, this means “instant
profit base”. In addition, you enjoy an additional
income stream by having your radiologist interpret the
report that we provide to you after the scan.
